It’s easy to get stuck in a rut with social media marketing. After writing social media again and again, it can start to feel a little stale.
Given the current Coronavirus pandemic, clearly we need to be extremely cautious about venturing outside but if, like me, you have been out for a daily walk round your neighbourhood (respecting social distancing of course) you might notice something new and interesting. Drawings and paintings are springing up all over the place, displayed on windows and doors. These images, created by children, show vibrant rainbows often with some positive and inspiring words like ‘be brave’, ‘stay safe’ or ‘spread the colour’.
I was on Linkedin earlier. No, I wasn’t looking for a new job. I was looking at a friend request from someone involved in a strategic business streamlining network who had ‘felt some synergies between our business methodologies’ and felt it was a great idea to link. I didn’t really feel the synergy. Really, I didn’t. In fact I don’t know what synergy feels like…a tingling sensation? An unrelenting calling? Hives?
